Rapport, Week Two

Rapport is one of my favorite words. Not simply because it rolls of my tongue in that sophisticated and sexy French way, but mainly because it sounds just as important as it is. It develops in every relationship that one has in their lives. Whether a boss or a lover or a friend, the unspoken way of things is fascinating to watch as it unfolds. It can be said to have a life of its own. The concept can also be applied beyond the interpersonal level, and can be seen in the interactions and relationships between physical objects or even complex systems or groups. When I first came up with this idea for a weekly theme, I immediately over-thought it, my college brain was obviously yearning for some theory intepretation! But regardless of the depths of its possible interpretations, the rapport of your life is thejuicy stuff! Either positive or full of tension, it makes us act and feel and move. And that's all we can really ask for right?
